Question: Hubby wants out, but I don't.

Dear Lounge Advice, we have been in the lifestyle for almost four years now and lately my husband has been shying away from playing. He said that he doesn't enjoy it like he used to and doesn't really want to watch me with other men anymore. I told him that I still enjoy it and would still want to play. He said to play without him then. I don't want to hurt his feelings, but I don't want to quit playing either. What should I do? Should I play without him like he mentioned or should I give up something that is fun for me so our marriage doesn't suffer?

Sincerely,

(Anonymous)

Dear (Anonymous),

Your marriage is the most important thing, period. Your husband should be priority number one, not the lifestyle. If you show him the respect of bowing out of it, you may find out that he will take this into heavy consideration and consider venturing back into swinging in the future. If it helps, place yourself in his position. If you wanted out, how would you feel if he still played?
