Question: I'm a virgin and my b/f doesn't know
Dear Lounge Advice,
I told my boyfriend that I wasnt a virgin and that ive had sex many times.
but the truth is that I really am a virgin and I dont want him to find out.
he plans on having sex soon and I dont know what to do.
I dont want him to know I lied.
What do i do???
You need to fess up my dear. Tell him the truth behind why you lied. Tell him you didn't want him to know and let him know what your reasons were. There's no shame in admitting you were scared to tell him something like that. Would you want him to lie to you about something this big?
Most men really like it when they get to be with a virgin. It's something like exploring uncharted territory. More than likely, he will find this a turn-on. Plus, if he respects the fact that you're apprehensive about sex because you're still a virgin, he may give you the time you need until you're ready to sleep with him.
Besides, if you do keep this secret, and end up sleeping with him, he will probably realize that you're unexperienced. Someone who has had sex many times is very different in bed than someone who hasn't done it yet. Men can tell.
