Question: How to get more involved without a validation

Dear Lounge Advice,

I've been involved on the fringe of the lifestyle for about 10 years, mainly participating in 3-somes with other couples I have met through less organized web sites and such. After ending a recent relationship in which this kind of thing was NOT an option, I decided to make an attempt to get fully into the swinging lifestyle as it is something I have really been denying for a long time. My intention is to eventually (God willing) meet another single (lady) who is also open for this life for a longer term friendship and possibly more. ;)

Anyway, I haven't done a lot to my profile as I've been slowly wandering around the site checking things out when I stumbled on the advice section. This was pretty informative in many respects. Since there was so many varations on the 'Help, I'm a Single Guy What Do I Do?' posted, I picked up on your advice of trying to attend some events/clubs, meet people slowly, and then take it from there. Unfortunately when I clicked on the state I am in regarding clubs (as well as the surrounding states) I was taken to the 'How you get that 100% seal' page. Trying to click on one of the few events in my area gave me the following message:

"Due to recent abuses by non certified members interfering with scheduled events, we have increased site and member security, only allowing 100% Real Seal certified members to access event data."

I would have assumed that most clubs make new members (no pun intended) show up before any actual parties in order to be screened by the host or would offer some other variation of this process. So, any advice on how to proceed?

Thanks! ;)

Dear (Anonymous),

It seems that this is just a case of you needing to get validated. Here is a link to the LL's procedure for doing that. It's a very easy process and will help you on your way to getting more involved in the lifestyle. As for actual clubs/parties, I've never encountered a situation requiring a 'pre-screening' of any participants.
