Dear Lounge Advice, What are the best advices for me to write an email to couples that I am interested in without writing long sentences and to avoid feeling humiliated or embarrassed? Dear (Anonymous), Keep it simple for the first e-mail. Say hi, introduce yourself and compliment them on their picture and/or profile. Let them know you'd love to hear back from them, and leave it at that. This way, you won't be wasting a whole lot of effort on someone who might potentially just brush you off, but you're putting just enough effort into it to appear sincere.
