Question: Etiquette for wishlisting and whitelisting

Dear Lounge Advice,

What is the etiquette involved when someone puts you on their wishlist? Especially the ones where no personal note is included? Is a reply required? Is this simply a "fishing" expedition? Same question for whitelist..we received email stating we had been whitelisted by someone, with no note...

I looked in the archives & forum, but didn't turn up much :)

Thanks!

Sincerely,

(Anonymous)

Dear (Anonymous),

If no note or contact has been made, you need not do anything if you don't wish to do so. Don't feel as if you need to open your private album up to anyone who has whitelisted you either. We always wait until we get personal contact before returning whitelist or wishlist privileges. Many people use the wishlist as a sort of 'bookmark' to file away profiles that they find interesting.
