Question: Asking someone for proof on STD free

Dear Lounge Advice,
We're a married couple looking to fool around with another girl but we're paranoid about contracting an STD. We'd prefer to have proof that the girl is healthy, but if we ask her if she's clean, how do we know what is true? Aside from that, we don't want to offend her or turn her off by asking to see her clean bill of health.
Is there etiquitte for this potentially touchy subject?
Is it ok to ask?
We don't want to walk on eggshells, but we don't want to risk anything.
Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

(Anonymous)

Dear (Anonymous),

It is very ok to ask. Just be candid about your reasons. If she's serious about having fun with you, she won't take offense. The only sure way to tell if someone is clean is to ask them for a doctor's bill of health.
I'll tell you up front though, that this is very dificult to obtain. So, please have patience and be aware that you may have trouble getting what you ask for.
