Question: How do I get my wife back after our fight?

Dear Lounge Advice,

My wife and I have had some serious problems lately. Many of them stem from her continuance to flash her boobs and act lifesylish in situations that are not correct Such as on our boat in front of our 13 and 8 year old daughter and at a Halloween party that contained family and neighbors. We have discussed this many times and my anger got the best of me the last time. We had been drinking and things got violent and out of hand. I love my wife and feel terrible. We have been apart for the last two weeks, not divorced or no pending filings. During this time she has already placed a single female profile on the site. What do I do? I love my wife and dont want to lose her. Im torn apart.

Sincerely,

(Anonymous)

Dear (Anonymous),

Although the violent fight is obviously something which causes you regret, I do understand your reasoning behind not wanting her to do things like she was doing. Especially with children and family around, you're entitled to be concerned about this.
I think that you should initiate earnest contact with her and explain how you feel and let her know that it's tearing you apart and you're here for her. Don't be aggressive or try to pursue her, or it may just push her farther away. This sounds like she just needs to know that you still love her, but that you'll give her the space that she feels she needs right now. Just let her know that you're waiting for her and going nowhere and when she's ready, you'll be waiting.
