Question: As a transgender male, what do you think my chances are of finding a female to join me in the lifestyle?

Dear Lounge Advice,

I would like to get your opinion.
As you can see from my profile, I am a very different type of person.
I am 48 years old, bisexual, transgender, male, I do not intend to have sex reasignment surgery because I do prefer a female in a full time relationship though I do enjoy men also but not on a dayly basis.
I do not fit neatly into any ONE little catagory so I find it very difficult to fit in anywhere.
I have been in and out of the lifestyle with female partners for about 11 years now, I seem to be "tolerated" as long as I have a female partner, but alone I am not accepted at all by anyone.
My question I guess is : what do you think my chances are of finding - A - female to join me in the lifestyle and/or a long term relationship, and do you think I could ever be accepted as a non op transgender male in the lifestyle.
Sincerly
LouAnn

Sincerely,

Dear (Anonymous),

Any question to us that begins with "What are my chances of finding or meeting a "whatever" is always a difficult one for us to answer.... and we have to revert to the good old "magic 8-ball" for answers to those.

Unfortunately any answer would just be a guess... the only thing we will repeat again is one of our favorite quotes from Wayne Gretsky, "You are guaranteed to miss 100% of the shots you never take." So never give up and keep taking those shots !!

As far as whether you will ever be accepted in the lifestyle.... the only thing we can say is that we would certainly hope so... and sooner than later.

We wish that everyone would agree with us that the Lifestyle is really a celebration of everyones different choices... no matter whether they conform to anyones notions of what is standard or not. We respect everyones individual choices and the freedom that this lifestyle affords you to explore.

The one thing about the lifesytle is that the people in it are from a cross section of society and unfortunately our society can be downright cruel sometimes....

We hope that you don't experience any painful responses as you are just doing what all of us are doing.... exploring your fantasy.
Peace!
