Question: Confused about another relationship I'm in outside of my marriage

Dear Lounge Advice,I got involved in the lifestyle by a friend who became a lover. He suggested I become his partner because his live-in partner would not agree to swing with him.My husband is agreeable to swinging with me and has a few times with other couples. He found out about my 'other' presence and became angry and mistrustful demanding I stop with the other. Even though I developed strong emotional feelings for the other person, he tells me he just wants a sexual relationship with me and only to swap with me. What are your suggestions, if any.

Dear (Anonymous),

I believe that you need to make a choice. You are married and your husband is foremost. It's understandable that he's mistrustful of you now. If you love your husband, this other pairing needs to stop immediately. If you feel that you need this other man, then you should reevaluate being married.
From what you said, this other man just wants to use you for being involved in the lifestyle. He is, essentially, using you. Why would you want to continue being with him when your husband obviously loves you and is willing to be in the lifestyle with you?
You're letting your feelings for this other man muddy up your priorities. You will lose your husband if you continue on this path. I've seen it happen plenty of times with others. Figure out what you really want before your relationship suffers even more than it has.
