Dear (Anonymous), There are some options. You don't necessarily have to tell her that you've noticed it before. For example: You can begin foreplay, then say "Hun, I better not mess with you right now. You don't have your usual sweet scent, and I think something might be wrong. I'm afraid that if I mess around with you down there that I'll make it worse.Why don't we play after you make sure you're okay." This way, you can subtly alert her to the problem without letting her know that you've been smelling this. It also shows empathy.
