Question: Testimonial returns- What is the common practice?

Dear Lounge Advice,

We are new to this site but not the lifestyle. We have a "testimony" question. We recently met a couple on this site and seemed to have a great evening out. We played multiple times, and at the end of the evening the other couple gave us both of their cell numbers and we returned the favor. The next morning they sent us a unsolicited text message, making a joke about a story we told them the night before. We replied to their text message, but got nothing in return. The morning after we sent them an email from LL saying we had a great time plus we sent them a testimony which they accepted and now it shows on their profile. However, they did not return the favor. They also did not reply to the email we sent saying we had a good time. They have been online multiple times over the past 2 days, but still no testimony or return email. Are we reading too much into this? Is not returning testimonies common practice on LL?

Sincerely,

(Anonymous)

Dear (Anonymous),

We haven't had a single testimonial returned as far I can recall, and we've been at this for a while.
I don't think the lack of a return should bother you much. If they posted yours on their profile, that says something. I beleive that if they didn't like you, they wouldn't want your testimonial showing on their profile.

As for the unanswered e-mail, we're guilty of that ourselves.
Often, we'll just check into the site quickly for one reason or another, but don't necessarily have the time to sit down and write a thought-out e-mail reply.

We just leave it for when we have more time. So yes, I do think you're reading into it a bit more than necessary. If a week or more goes by, then I'd lend it some thought. But for now, just let it be and don't worry about it.
