Question: Is it rude for of someone to ask me to meet without my husband?

Dear Lounge Advice,
Is it considered rude to ask the female half of a couple if she can meet without her husband? I am finding this question pointed at me rather often. Even though my profile says I swing alone, I find myself shying away from people who specifically want me separated from my husband.

Dear (Anonymous),

It is really only considered rude to ask someone that if they do not state in their profile that they play alone.
Since you do state this in yours, it's normal to expect people to ask you. If you had stated that you and your husband play bareback, you would expect others to to ask you to play this way with them.
If an option is made available in your profile, it should be expected that others may want to approach you about that option.
If the question is turning you off, you may want to try removing the statement from your profile. This way, you can extend the option to only the couples with whom you obtain a certain comfort level.
