Question: Why do people just delete and email instead of replying and saying they are not interested?

Dear Lounge Advice,

We're new to the lifestyle and are wondering one thing...

Why is it people just delete an inquiry about the possibility of meeting - instead of doing what we would do - tell them that you aren't compatible or arent interested?

Sincerely,

(Anonymous)

Dear (Anonymous),

To begin with, sometimes people do delete by accident with all the spam and junk mail that goes out.

Then of course there are those that feel that there may not be a compatible match, and frankly do not wish to hurt the feelings of others..... so instead of being upfront ... they choose to ignore rather than risk hurting someone's feelings.

Try sending a second email... and if you dont get a response assume the folks don't have the fortitude to say anything.
