Dear (Anonymous), "Third wheel" has a negative connotation to it. That usually implies that the 'third' is the person who doesn't quite fit into the action or puts a damper on a couple's social activities. The third wheel is usually only around out of feeling of obligation or pity. You are not a third wheel when you are invited into playtime, or even out on a date as company. Especially as a single female, you are very sought after and generally treated very well when a couple has a chance to be with you. So, the third wheel you are perceiving yourself to be is all in your head. To not feel like a third wheel, you need to change your mindset and realize that you put the 'three' in threesome, and that's a wonderful thing in this lifestyle. So be more confident and know that you are incredibly desired and far from the obligatory person that someone else has to endure.
