Question: Thank you

Dear Lounge Advice,

I asked you for advice about 2 years ago. At that time in my life, I was so isolated and controlled by my husband that you were my only outlet.

I want to say thank you for being on the receiving side of my keyboard. It helped me keep my sanity to be able to put all of my 'issues' into writing.

At that time in my life, I believed my husband, and I thought I was truly crazy. You were the first person that directed me away from those negative thoughts.

At this point in my life, I am away from the controlling husband. I have been promoted twice in my job, and I am doing better than ever.

The reason I am coming back to write this is to let you know that you have done some good in this crazy universe apart from whiney swingers that don't know which condom to use. :-)

Sincerely,

(Anonymous)

Dear (Anonymous),

I am SO incredibly happy for you. I know exactly how this feels and DAMN it feels good, doesn't it! It's wonderful to hear that this is now in your past. So often, I just end up wondering what happened with everybody who has had such terrible problems. So few times do I actually know if the outcome was positive.

Thank you humbly for your kind words and taking the time to write this to me. You had me misty eyed. Congratulations on your new life and the positive direction you have chosen for yourself.
You have yourself to thank for this- I can offer only so much to people. They need to make the right decisions for themselves, which you did.
