Question: Getting noticed

Dear Lounge Advice,

I am single and 50 and was noticing there are many couples and some single women. Many of the events or people check out seem to be dedicated to couples and women. It seems there are many men for a few single women here. Am I wasting my time here as a single old guy? Many of the guys look really good and fit and I feel far from that. I just joined so I do not have alot of history or experience here yet.

What do you think about my chances to be involved and to find much passion here?

Dear (Anonymous),

I wouldn't say it's a lost cause, but it's going to be very dificult to attain. Single males are abundant, and not always sought after by the general population. If you want to get noticed, get heavily involved in the public forums and chat and get noticed. Be a gentleman and offer wit/friendship. That's how I've seen GOOD sinlge men rise in the ranks.
It's all about your reputation around here.
