Question: Oral Sex Condoms
Dear Lounge Advice,
I am a single woman and while I ask all the men to use a condom for intercourse, almost all have taken them off when I am giving them head/oral. When the man comes in my mouth and some of cum I swallow, I am at risk?
Oral sex is NOT with a condom and vaginal sex is with a condom. Isn’t this a contradiction? How safe or unsafe is this??
Signed "Confused"
Sincerely,

,
Hello there
There is a market for condoms that are a bit different for oral sex vs. vaginal sex.
You are absolutely correct, if you perform oral sex with someone that has an STD and you have a laceration in your mouth you are at risk of catching whatever STD they have. It is a slim possibility, but a possibility nonetheless. You do not even have to swallow their cum in order to be at risk.
My highest recommendation is that anytime you are having sex with someone, oral or vaginal, use a condom.
Good Luck and Stay Sexy!
