Question: Lack of Communication - Problematic

Dear Lounge Advice,

Im trying to understand my boyfriend on why he wants a hall pass.
Im eager to see his excitement.
However he said he does not want me there.
Is that wrong for him to say that when we agree not to play separately.
How can i him understand im willing but i feel hurtful.
We talk then he gets upset and doesn't want to talk.what can i do or say.

Sincerely,

(Anonymous)

Dear (Anonymous),

Hi there

This is simple...if you agreed to not play separately...then him even asking for a hall pass is already violating your boundaries...

There really should not be a need for discussion where he would get mad or frustrated with you...unless you are both looking at possibly "changing the rules..."

Why would you be willing to do something that feels "hurtful" to you just so he could do something that he wants...but not what you BOTH have agree too?

You both need to have LS rules that you abide...religiously...Because if you can't communicate or trust your partner in the LS then neither of you should be in the LS. I would recommend some therapy if you are not able to talk with him without him getting upset....Communication is key in the LS!

Good Luck and Stay Sexy
