Question: My wife is so overly critical of people's profiles, any suggestions to calm her fears or just wait?

Dear Lounge Advice,
My wife lost her first husband and best friend several years ago after full swapping. She has now decided its ok to try again with the lifestyle as there are things she misses such as making new friends and the thrill of sex with others. However, we have been contacted by several couples that are interested and she has become so overly critical of their profiles, it seems she is just avoiding that first jump out of the safety net. Any suggestions to calm her fears or just wait it out until she is fully ready?

Thanks so much

Sincerely,

(Anonymous)

Dear (Anonymous),

Since you don't have experience with her in the Lifestyle you do not know if this is just the way that she always was... or you may wish to ask her if she was always this critical about people.

For some people attraction is very specific and no one should have to feel that they must play with anyone they are not attracted to.

This is very true for some women. Zoey is very particular too.. but trust us.. its worth the wait. For men it's a different story...

There is an old saying, "Women need a reason... men just need a place !!"

We would suggest you talk to her about what she is looking for and what turns her off in the profiles she is viewing.. but do it in a non-threatening way so that she does not feel pressured at all.
