Question: How do you know if the other couple is disease free?

Dear Lounge Advice,
How do you know if the other couple is disease free, when you meet them at an event and end up with them later on?? How do I know if I can preform oral sex on both partners?

Dear (Anonymous),

There are no guarantees that everyone you will hook up will be disease free.
This is why practicing safe sex MUST be utilized whenever you play with others.

For first time play...it is probably a good idea to at least touch on this topic with the couple you are interested in before ever reaching the bedroom.
Ask them what their practices and viewpoints on "safe sex" are.
This can be a great conversation piece as well as informative to each couple involved on the others preferences and habits.

If you decide to engage in play with the couple..."lights on" is usually a great policy to have so everyone involved can get a pretty good look at each other to see if there are any visible symptoms of a disease.

If you are not up to date on STD's and their physical appearance there are plenty of resources available on the web to research ...but remember...not all of them have outward signs.
Good personal hygiene and detail to appearances are pretty good basic indicators of a healthy couple for starters….but just like anything else in the world…don’t judge a book by the cover.

Most people in the lifestyle are chronic about practicing safe sex....but some are not...and that is why you should never make any "acceptions" to practicing safe sex techniques.

There is an area in the Forum called “Ask the Doctors and other medical related topics” you may want to explore or offer this question to.
It can be a great resource for information and feedback from other members on this subject.
