When Georgia QB Aaron Murray threw an interception during the SEC Championship game, he took a blindside hit from Alabama LB Quinton Dial. Mike Silve an SEC Official has said that the play will be reviewed and a determination made as to Dial's eligibility for the BCS Championship game.
The video clip has made the rounds on YouTube and the responses have varied from the fact that Murray was no longer a QB because he had become a defender, Dial had led with his shoulder or even that Murray should have just gotten out of the way. It appears that Dial did indeed target Murray above the shoulders with his helmet which is a violation of SEC rules.
