It wasn't Peyton Manning, Knowshon Mereno, nor the defense. It was John Fox. When you have 36 seconds left, there is no way any receiver gets behind the safety. Especially when they need to go 70 yards!! Then, with 31 seconds left, you take a knee??? You have 2 timeouts, Peyton Manning, who has delivered more 4th Qtr comebacks then anyone, and you are playing in Denver where they reguarily kick 60 yards field goals, and you have a long distance, accurate kicker. They could have easily made 35 to 40 yards in 31 seconds with two timeouts. Then you give the kicker a shot. If he misses it, you go to OT. This was a horrible coaching game for John Fox and it shows why he was run out of Carolina!
