So, 4 months ago I decided to quit bitchin about the way I let myself go and take the time and make the effort to make some changes. I started running again (hate running, but I can do it with the little one in the jog stroller). Then 4 weeks ago I started Insanity. I was cleaning out my home office this morning and found my measurements and body fat % (that I took about 5 months ago) and decided to do some comparing to see how far I've come. I did and now I am pretty bummed and feeling really discouraged. I was hoping for more change by now. Shaun T is KILLING me with these workouts and I am able to do more and keep up more each week but still...sheesh! I also eat pretty clean, but obviously the simple fact is too many calories in, not enough out.

FYI - using 7 data points I have lost 16.75" and 17 pounds and lost just over 6% body fat. I am beating myself up and wondering if i should really  be wearing the Halloween costume I have, really, should that much of my body be out there? yuk! How do you deal with this kind of disappointment/self-disssatisfaction?
