I have a friend...no...I really do (I wish it were me)...that just found out that his grandparents bought stock in an oil company in South Dakota like in the 1940's. They pretty much kept all the records and going through it he couldn't find anywhere that said they had sold it. WELL...some oil company JP...P&J (?) bought the oil company out and it is believed the same boom happening right now in North Dakota...will be heading south. He found out the shares of the stock he bought...equals 1% of the oil company. Yes...he has a big smile.
The big question...
How can he find out if they still own the oil company stock?
