Rolling roma under tiled checkstand
Power aid precariously perched on conveyor
rocking gently
to the stop
And
go of
chirping scanner
Two hands reach for ripened fruit
Resting against
Anklet and heart shaped
Tattoo.
Fingers brush
One another gently and
retreat
“Oh”
Eyes flash
Blush
Time stretches and hearts beat
to the rhythm
of check on aisle
for cash or credit and your own
bags thanks for shopping
Hands gripping grasping
lovers twirling, touching, feeling
yearning
hot breath, bathing lips
caressing
bodies pressing
rising and falling
sweating and writhing and
dancing and
rising and falling
again
thundering
shattering
shuddering
Explosion

Conveyor stops.
Chiffon skirt swings and lifts
In time
To swaying hips
Turning
Sparkling eyes
Smile and

gone.
