A previous post mentioned "spotting newbies" in the lifestyle scene. This got me to wondering how exactly does one "spot a newbie" at a party or other event? Do they look nervous? Do they announce it to others? Or is it any new face(s) that aren't familiar? It also seems like there are mixed feelings about whether to become involved with a couple new to this scene. Everyone wants to meet new potentials yet many have voiced concerns about becoming involved with a couple that hasn't learned the ropes/worked out the kinks yet. So how do you tell and what do you do?
