I've had some issues with one ear kind of bothering me a bit. I notice it when I cough or open my jaw more. It has been going on for several weeks now and is only slightly worse now where I notice it off and on throughout the day as my ear is kind of feeling a bit plugged and a bit sensitive with certain things I do. I have a high tolerance for pain, so I tend to not really notice stuff until it's to the point of my body telling me "it's time to address this issue!!!" because it's at the extreme pain wise. I had to have an emergency root canal once and didn't realize how bad I had been feeling for a long time until it was over.
Here's the deal. I have no medical insurance and so was wondering if this in fact sounds like an ear infection. I've had a couple in the past 8 yrs and seems to be so. Is there anything I can do to heal this on my own or do I have to see a doc and get meds? I know I can put warm olive oil in my ear to help with the pain, but does that fix it?
Any feedback would be nice! Thank you!
