my step daughter called this am. she said that her 23 month old son had been very lethargic, mostly sleeping this am post vomitting without fever. she said that he felt "Floppy" would not stand and his muscle tone seemed abnormal. pupils mildly constricted. pulse racing. sweating, clammy. respirations normal and unlabored.

i sugested she call 911. 

at the ER, bp 84/42. 98.1 rectal, blood sugar was 60 dropped to 54. 

he is very small in stature but had normal to low birth weight.

urine is yellow.

she denies any recent injury or access to medications. child has not been in the yard so no exposure to mushrooms or toxins.  no visitors in the home.  no ethylene glycol.

not sure if tox screens or liver fx tests are back. 

the doctors in jamestown, ny are stumped.
