Was surprised to see the phrase jumped the shark. A rather harsh and judgemental choice of termms suggesting that the best days are over for the lifestyle. Change is constant and perhaps for those that long for key parties or the underground narture of swinging feel like the best days are in the past. That is an opinion but as new people (of all ages) enter the lifestyle it is bound to evolve.

For individuals, it may be a fad but fads seem to die out and people look back and recall as has been noted the bell bottoms, the mullets, the big hair. The lifestyle is still going though perhaps in directions that certain people may not enjoy but such is life.
